Welcome to the Year 6 Page

Hello! Our names are Miss Orrell and Mrs Anderson and we are joint Heads of Year 6. We are so lucky to work alongside the wonderful Mrs Shah, Mrs James, Mrs Esh and Miss Geevanathan.

We absolutely love teaching in Year 6 (some of us have taught in this year group for more than a decade!) and helping prepare our students for their next adventure... high school!

Food Bank Donations

Thankyou to all our amazing families who donated food to the food bank last Friday (8/12/23) we had more food donated than every. What a fantastic and generous community we are.

Year 6 Science- Air Resistance 30th Jan 2024

Year 6 began their exploration of air resistance by measuring the time it took different paper cases to fall to the floor from a set height.
 

Year 6 Trip to RAF Hendon 17th Jan 2024

As part of their World War 2 history topic Year 6 visitied the RAF War Museum. The children had a great day and took part in two workshops and explored the aircraft.

 

KS2 Christmas lunch 18th Dec 2023
