The year 3 & 4 children competed against the other schools in the West and North Zones in Luton. The children were crowned champions and will go onto represent Luton at the County Finals in 2026.

During the last week, Year 6 classes visited Dunstable Downs as part of their Geography and Fieldwork curriculum. Children had the opportunity to use compasses to follow OS maps, fly kites and build dens. Although wet and windy at times, great fun was had by all!

We had another great turnout for the coffee morning. Bernard from the Youth Service shared a fantastic video on knife crime, which was well received. The event also provided parents with an opportunity to connect with several organisations. Another informative event and we looking forward to hosting similar events in the future.

They learnt a poem about the sea, made bookmarks for the book fair competition linked to the oceans and outside the children had to try and clean up the 'sea' by getting the rubbish out of the water. TThis week the children have also been learning about snails and they explored the sand and made spirals of sea snails.

We had a visit from the dental nurses who taught us how to keep our teeth clean and healthy . We learned that we need to brush our teeth for 2 minutes in the morning and before bedtime.They kindly gave us all a new toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste to take home.
